The equestrian world is filled with ‘superstars’. Horses and riders who inspire and motivate us to be better riders ourselves with their wonderful displays of horsemanship and talent. They can be riders who have stayed top of their discipline for years on end, showing an almost superhuman level of commitment to their sport.
They can be riders who just have that ‘something’, a charisma of sorts. The ability to make us feel like we are are riding along with them. They can be riders who overcame the odds to climb to the top of pile. Or riders who, day in and day out, are there working towards something…
Today, for Day 11 of the SfS 12 Days of Christmas Equestrian Challenge, I want you to thank the horse & rider combination who most inspires you.
Most riders nowadays have a presence on social media, so jump on there and find them. Then, remembering to include their handles so they will see your post, share a line or two thanking them and mentioning WHY you think they are so fantastic.
Tell them how they have and continue to positively impact your riding or horsemanship. What it is about them that you admire to much; and perhaps aspire to.
Also, because this is all about horses, Tell them which of their horses is your favourite and why…
